TOA GROUP CEO TO COMMENCE ARTICLE SERIES FOR UPCOMING ENTERTAINERS

On Monday, 18th September, 2017, TOA Group’s CEO, Ore Afolayan took to Social Media platforms, Facebook and Instagram to announce the commencement of an article series targeted at upcoming music acts.
Below is his Social Media post;
More than ever before, upcoming music acts have slid into the Inboxes of my Social Media accounts or sent me emails regarding their latest jam or joint, as they often term it.
Most times, if the message is sent via Social Media, I’m often directed to a Link where I can download and/or listen to the song. And whenever it is via email, I am often sent a mail with the song attached as a downloadable file.
All the time, I do the needful. I download these musical content, all the time. Unconsciously, I just download. Maybe it is cause I want to douse my curiosity or to support a growing entertainment brand. Sometimes, I share these contents with my ‘Following’.
Days later.
Weeks later.
The monster joint is still there. Just there. No promotions. No airplay. No tour. No online marketing strategy. No blogging. No interviews. No Press Release. No-nothing. Basically, no life. No more life, after the initial bouts of Social Media frenzy.
Then, we head back to the drawing board.
To produce another monster hit.
And they storm my Inboxes, again.
And a sequence starts and continues.
On their second, third and later coming, you will notice a stronger voice, better lyrics and almost flawless production. However, the chain appears to be stronger than the production and we return to Square One.
Unknowing to the music act and/or his/her team, the strong-willed deliberate efforts expended to the music production has not been extended to its promotion and marketing.
This is the point of potential and excellence.
Potential, they say is overrated. Till a music act goes beyond that potential point of Potentiality, he/she may not strike gold, (yet).
On a very low budget, a music act can shoot him/herself to excellence (or stardom in most times) using some neural pathways.
Starting next week, I’ll be highlighting these pathways.
Keep it locked.
